			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>According to census figures from the latest 2006 census of Ireland &#8211; the town of Crosshaven in Cork has the highest percentage of voluntary workers in the Ireland.<br />
22.2% of people aged over 15 in Crosshaven are involved in working for or helping with social, charitable, religious or sporting organisations. </p>
<p>Duleek on the other hand &#8211; has the lowest percantage of voluntary involvement -  with just 9.67% of the over 15s reporting that they are doing some sort of voluntary work.</p>

<p style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt" class="MsoNormal"><font face="Times New Roman">Some towns depend much more on construction for jobs than others – and could be harder hit if the slowdown in house building continues.</font></p>
<p style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt" class="MsoNormal"><font face="Times New Roman">Gort – in Galway has a massive 23% of it’s workforce employed in building – almost one quarter of all jobs in the town.</font></p>
<p style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt" class="MsoNormal"><font face="Times New Roman">These are the top ten towns (with populations over 1500) for construction-based work.</font></p>

<p style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt" class="MsoNormal"><font face="Times New Roman">The towns of Malahide , Donabate , Portmarnock,<span>  </span>Kinsealy-Drinan and Shannon all had less than 5% of their workforce in the building trade.</font></p>
